On My Radar: New Local Beauty Releases!

New in!

So there have been a TONNN of new releases from local beauty brands these past few months and like the good girl that I am, I didn't buy all of them then and there because if I did, my wallet and debit cards (and my mom, tbh) won't be happy. I did buy one but only because I was intrigued and the new product was 50% off but other than that, I've been good. I gotta say though, there are a some releases that look pretty good and right up my alley and I'll probably get them in the near future.

Let me talk about them!

The very first newly released product I can't wait to buy is Naturale's Through Textures Concealer! I'm an avid concealer fan and user and I. Must. Have. This! What do you mean this concealer comes in 24 shades(!), has full coverage, and it's hydrating on the underyes?? That sounds like the concealer for me! Hope they restock the shades I've been eyeing because I can't wait to have 'em!

Next we have Colourette's Third Base! Colourette's new base line have been smashing it lately but among the products, I'm most interested in Third Base, an invisible setting powder! They released this a couple of months back but somehow it keeps getting sold out; good for Colourette but a bummer for me! I've seen reviews and they all say the same thing: it's pretty good! Hope I get my hands on one soon!

There are a few things from Squad Cosmetics that have piqued my interest, starting with their new release: the Lip Fix Duo! As suggested in the name, these are a liquid lipstick + gloss combo, similar to Kiko Milano's Unlimited Double Touch Lipsticks, only Squad's are definitely more affordable. Particular shades I'm eyeing are Bad Apple (a deep berry red), Cake (a muted pink), Raspberry Pie (a mauve rose), and Tiramisu (a mocha brown)!

Squad Cosmetics also expanded their Play Collection by adding 6 more to the pack- 5 new Petal Play blush shades and 1 new Light Play highlighter! I definitely have my eyes on Stargazer, a rosy glow highlighter, and as for the blushes, I'd love to have Tulip (a glowy cool pink), Tea Rose (a rosy beige that may look a bit too light on my skintone but whatevs), and for the vibes and curiosity, Moonflower (a deep plum that, not gonna lie, looks a bit patchy but again, whatevs!)

Vice Cosmetics finally made a matte version of their Dew It All blushes! Love my Dew It All blushes but hate that they don't last long unless I set them so I'm happy to see that they released the Multi Matte Liquid Blushes! They come in 10 very wearable shades and I personally like Forever Blooming (a magenta haze), Forever Chic (a copper rose), and Forever Cutesy (an orchid pink).

(Also, FYI, they have 4 bundles that are a Dew It All + Multi Matte Combo! BRB, adding Sunrose to my basket!)

Another concealer release has entered the chat! Did you know that Chu Chü Beauty now has concealers? Their Soft Focus Liquid Concealers are hydrating concealers- just what I've been looking for! Though the concealers only have 6 shades, I think they can cater to a lot of skintones already and I think it can always be expanded in the future. Among the shades, I'm eyeing Nude or Cashew for my underyes and maybe Honey for spot concealing!

(FYI: They also have Soft Focus Liquid Concealer Correctors, 1 green, a light-medium peach, and a dark peach! Will have to pass on these for now since I still have correctors on hand!)

Another local release that really got my attention is GRWM's minis! Yep, you read that right: some of their best-selling products now have a mini size! That includes 6 shades of the Milk Tints, including OG shades Buttercream, Pablo's Latte, and Souffle; and 2 new ones namely Cotton Candy and Meringue. Aside from the Milk Tints, the Powder Rush line (yes all shades!) and the Lash Revolution Mascara also got the mini treatment!

Among the minis, I love the mini Pablo's Latte and Cotton Candy, while shades Brioche and Bright n' Pink are picks for the mini Powder Rush!!

Okay, I totally lied when I said I'll pass on correctors because the new Under-Eye Brightening Fluids from Issy changed my mind! These products are like a corrector/concealer hybrid which makes concealing quicker and more efficient! They are also mainly for the under-eyes and are packed with hydrating ingredients! The Brightening Fluids come in five shades of peach undertone and I have my eye on Medium Peach!

Alongside the Under-Eye Brightening Fluids they also released Under-Eye Brightening Powders which are, again, targeted mainly for the under-eyes. You pretty much use this in tandem with the Brightening Fluids to set it and because this is for the under-eyes, this powder claims to be non-drying and won't emphasize skin texture. There are three shades available and I think Yellow will pair nicely with Medium Peach!

Ever Bilena also recently released their Daily Dose line which are products you can use for everyday, and among them the one thing I most want to try is the Flawless Filter Primer + Sunscreen. Again, another hybrid product that makes a base routine efficient and quicker! What I find interesting is that it's apparently not only pore-blurring and quick absorbing, it also has a whopping SPF60 PA++! Most products with high sunscreen content usually feels hot and suffocating on my skin so I'm pretty much curious to know how this product feels on my skin, plus if it'll make my makeup last!

And that's pretty much it! So far, those are the newly released products that have caught my eye! There are more brands that released products in the market but again, not too keen on those like BLK's Soft Blur Foundation, (I rarely wear foundation nowadays but reviews are pretty positive on this one!), Enigma's Skintroduction Liquid Foundations and Concealers (the mixed reviews are what's stopping me from trying, plus the fact these products apparently oxidize?? I think I'll wait until they have samples), and Fresh Beauty's new brushes (just...not for me. I prefer the old ones). Love that the local beauty industry is booming and has more support than 10 years ago. Can't wait for other releases too, hopefully something new, fun, and innovative!
