Sampling Samples: Innisfree Green Tea Hydrating Amino Acid Cleansing Foam
Foamy hydration.
It has been a hot minute since I featured a cleanser, huh? To be honest, I actually planned this review to be published sometime last year but for some reason it got buried in my drafts, then the blogging drought hit, and well, bottom-line is, I only got around to finishing this post now. Better late than never, I guess. (Lol, the perpetual motto of this blog haha!)
Anyway, here's the cleanser I've been testing out/using for a couple months now. This is Innisfree's Green Tea Hydrating Amino Acid Cleansing Foam is a "moisturizing amino hypoallergenic cleansing foam that removes wastes like fine dust and moisturizes the skin thoroughly after washing." This cleanser is formulated with amino acid complex and hyaluronic acid on top of the Jeju green tea water, which cleanses and moisturizes the skin without the feeling of tightness. This cleanser is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin.
This cleanser has a soft paste-like consistency and a fresh green tea scent that makes face washing a delight. I've been using this alongside my usual facial cleanser (the Clean & Clear Deep Action Oil-Free Cleanser) and I have to say, there is a stark difference between these cleansers on my skin.
Clean & Clear is more of my heavy duty cleanser, one I use at the end of the day when my skin is feeling especially greasy and dirty. It is also a great cleanser to use after removing my makeup because it really scrubs your face clean. However, this cleanser tends to be super drying and one I skip when my skin is drier than usual.
Innisfree's Cleansing Foam, on the other, can be used anytime of the day. I've used it on daytime and nighttime, as a follow up cleanser after removing my makeup, and when I had oily and dry skin. I like that this cleanser is great at cleansing and removing dirt on the skin without drying it out. In fact, my skin feels great after because it feels soft and moisturized and sans the feeling of tightness. It also handles oiliness very well, though not as hardcore as Clean & Clear.
Personally, I think the Green Tea Hydrating Amino Acid Cleansing Foam is worth getting in full-size! I have not experienced anything negative with this facial cleaner, no breakouts or anything; just soft, moisturized, and clean skin. If your skin is sensitive or is more on the drier side, you will for sure appreciate this cleanser!
