Shaping up for 2026!
I don't know about you guys but I pretty much let myself go during the holidays. I was fully in a festive mood and all I wanted to do was stuff myself and only do things related to Christmas like buying and wrapping gifts, attending Christmas parties, helping my mom in the kitchen, and spending time with my little nieces and nephew. Work-wise, I was already mentally checked out when the second week of December hit, hence the lack of activity here on the blog. Not gonna lie, after weeks of inactivity and not giving a damn, I was definitely feeling it. I felt bloated and weird and my body was already begging me to do any kind of exercise. When January 2026 came, I knew it was time to lock in and get back on track.
Happy to say that I'm back to working out regularly and I'm not stuffing myself to the brim anymore. I'm slowly getting back to feeling like myself and I'm so glad my clothes don't feel like sausage casings anymore haha! I feel better dressing up now than last month and whenever I feel like I need a bit of a boost or shape, I enlist the help of my trusty shapewear! I can never hate shapewear because not only do they cinch areas that need to be cinched, they give me a boost of confidence, especially when they day's been pretty- excuse my French- shitty.
