There are three reasons why July 31st is a special day. 

  So last June, Potterheads tried their best to be able to submit their e-mail address to Potterhead. I had no difficulty submitting mine, considering that there were a lot of people who were trying to access it. So now that it's July 31st, Potterheads paid Pottermore once more to be able to participate in an activity: the search for the Magical Quill. (click here for more details about it)

  I wasn't able to get a screen shot of the first clue, but it involved numbers and breeds of owls. I got the answer correctly so I was directed to a site where I have to catch the quill. If you're successful, this will be seen:

  When you click the arrow button above, this will appear:

  Once you click the 'Register Now' button, it will direct you to the registration form where you'll give your birthday, your first and last name, valid e-mail address, and password. There are 5 random usernames for you to choose from. Be careful though; once you choose a certain username, you won't be able to change it afterwards.

  So after filling up the information questions, this will show up.

  There's also a part where you'll find your name written with the names of some Harry Potter characters.

  Once you receive your registration e-mail from Pottermore, it'll look like this:

  There's a link included in the mail which will direct you to Pottermore's Log In page. Once you fill in your username and password, this will show up:

Once you have validated your account, you'll see this when you log in.
