B&W Specks: The Face Shop's CMX324

My fourth Face Shop glitter polish.

I already featured three glitter polishes from The Face Shop here in my blog so why not feature the last one I have for the first Friday of September? This last polish is quite different because this one will appeal to those who love some monochrome in their life.

CMX324 as you can see is pretty much a big jumble of specks but just in black and white. The other glitter polishes I featured before were either colorful or shiny so this one's a break from all those. The specks in this aren't shiny and reflective as SL211 but in terms of specks, it's like a combination of CMX321 & MX311. CMX324 has the same big chunks like hexagons, circles, and squares as CMX321 but it also has some strip specks as MX311. This polish is a good one to start with if you're looking for assorted specks and if you want something that's not too colorful or attention-grabbing.

In terms of application, this was actually easy to work with. The specks don't move around too much that they glide off or scatter every time you go in with another layer but they also move if you need them to. I really recommend the sponge trick if you want an opaque coverage without piling on too much clear polish. This became an instant fave among the 4 glitter polishes because of its application, style, and overall effect on the nails.

So if you're looking for something black & white, I suggest you take a look at this. What's good about these polishes is that you can mix and match them up so you get a good mix of colored and monochrome ones. I think it'll be nice to mix CMX324 and CMX321 because they're pretty much in the same speck spectrum (say that 10 time lolol). These glitter polishes can be used for nail arts too or just on top of negative space. Ahh that things I can do with these polishes!! :D
