Bali Day IV
May 2, 2014
Fourth day!
Fourth day was pretty chill. We didn't do much but just swim and eat, and watch tv. And surf the net. It was also the third day of breakfast buffet which I totally enjoyed because the food was just yum.
Round 1, plate 1. Croissant, pain au chocolat, mini pancakes with maple syrup and almonds, samosa.
The breakfast buffet was pretty amazing. They've got eggs (which they'll cook in front of you however you like: scrambled, sunny side up, poached...), crispy bacon, bread like croissants, buns, and loaves, muffins, tarts, cornflakes, pancakes, yogurt and more. They also have local food and drinks like water and juices. They also serve coffee and tea while the hot chocolate has to be ordered separately.
After a filling breakfast, I took photos of the place where the buffet was held.

Chill day! Taken from our room's balcony after our swimming session.
I also got to eat another local fruit called Markisa Telur Kodok, Indonesia's version of passion fruit. I have to say, I enjoyed this more than the salak. :)) The markisa was yummy to the nth level which was why I gobbled up three of those in one sitting. It's sour and sweet and the seeds add crunch. Try it when you get a chance! Trivia: did you know that telur kodok means "frog eggs" in Indonesian? :D
We went to Bumbu Bali for dinner and ordered the usual. No photos but here's our drinks.
Can you believe the cocktail wasn't mine? :D
