The last place we visited in Gardens by the Bay was the Flower Dome which was pretty much my most favorite conservatory. There's just something about the atmosphere inside that made me so jolly and amazed.  It's also cool inside but not damp or wet. If I wanted my own garden, it would definitely look like the Flower Dome.

Here are some photos that I grouped in fours. I didn't realize I had a lot of photos so if I uploaded every single photo, it'd take around 5-6 posts. Now that I grouped them and chucked other photos out, there will only be three posts. Harharhar.
Creepy cacti are creepy. Aragog-looking cacti, anyone? :\
I will love whoever gives me a dozen of the "spiked" roses. So cool!
We went there on December so of course the Flower Dome was arranged in a festive manner! The Christmas spot of the garden was amazing! | Mother's Tongue is one big troll and I'd like to have some in our garden.

More photos in my next  two Flower Dome posts!

You have no idea how happy I was to leave Singapore with this little guy. I have to say that the Basics palette (S$42) is now one of my favorite palettes Urban Decay has ever released. I love the fact that five out of six shadows are matte and the sixth is a lovely shimmer highlight. I've been on a search for matte shadows that I can use for blending and so far I always end up with Naked and Buck from the Naked palette...until Naked Basics came along.
When I swatched the shadows in Sephora, all I thought was Oh my freaking goodness, they're soooo buttery, I love them already! The shadows didn't disappoint at all. They're buttery and pigmented and they're a dream to work with.
What I also like about this palette is that it's very travel-friendly because of its size. It also comes with a mirror inside so all you have to bring are your brushes and a few more stuff to complete a look.
Here are my babies. <3 I love the fact that they complement each other. I've got my warm colors from the Naked palette; a good mix of shadows for smokey eyes from Smoked; and blending, matte shadows from Naked Basics. If other girls are obsessed with MAC, I think I'm obsessed with Urban Decay, specially with their palettes. Speaking of palettes, have you already seen their Wizard of Oz palettes in Theodora and Glinda? Oh, what lovely things to look at.

Part two of the Cloud Forest post is here! I really hope my GbtB posts aren't boring anyone to death as I really like taking photos of plants and flowers and the place is a really nice one. Besides, Gardens by the Bay is called that way for a reason, right? ;)

Here's the second installment of the GbtB series. After the tram tour, we went to the Cloud Forest. It was cool and moist. It was a joy to enter and walk around. I was awed with the different plants, the colorful flowers, the wall of plants, and of course, the waterfall.

Here's a little haul from Singapore, beauty edition! The sale season in Singapore is crazyyy, from 30% off to almost 70%! Anyway, I managed to get a little loot for myself from Sephora, Watsons and from my sister. :P

After Christmas, my whole family and I went to Gardens by the Bay. We went there in the afternoon, so it wasn't long when it was already cloudy because Singapore is pretty rainy in December. We went to three places: the tour, the Cloud Forest, and the Flower Dome. Photos after the cut!

I'm back from Singapore! I'm sad to leave but I'm happy to be back. I've got a lot of things to blog about so expect food posts, hauls, outings, and a lot more. My blog will have new entries again now that I'm back. And that's a promise.

See you on my next post!

PS. I'm officially addicted to Downton Abbey! I've been watching the last two seasons nonstop and I'm on the third season already. My favorite characters are Mary and Matthew (I ship them big time!! Also, Dan Stevens, Y U LEAVE???), Violet Crawley (Maggie Smith is amazeballs), and Thomas (I love/hate him. Either way I hope he doesn't leave the show). The more I watch an episode, the more I turn British. Season 4, come faster!

Ever since I got my Smoked palette, it seems that I'm more obsessed with the eyeliner more than the palette itself. I just love it! Perversion is a true matte black eyeliner pencil which goes on very smoothly. It's very pigmented and very creamy but it dries pretty quickly and stays put until you remove it. It is pretty waterproof as well, unless you really rub it off on purpose.
If you're looking for an eyeliner that can also double as a base, say for smokey eyes, this may not be the product for you. It dries pretty quickly so it's perfect for lining the eyes and waterline and for tighlining. It somewhat reminds me of my Prestige eyeliner but UD's creamier.
I've tested UD's pencil eyeliners and I have to give them two thumbs up mainly for the staying power, creaminess, and excellent pigmentation of their pencils. I prefer Perversion more than Zero because I wasn't impressed of how dark Zero was when I swatched it on my hand in one swipe. Perversion is definitely an excellent pencil liner and I say you better check it out (and buy it asap!).
