A Little TOSAVE Package

A package of semi-random items chosen by moi.

Who's in the mood for a small haul? Cause I certainly am!

Back in December, I received an email from TOSAVE about a collab. All I needed to do was visit their website, choose 6 items, and they'll pretty much ship the items for me to play around with. TOSAVE is a Guangzhou-based online store that offers pretty much everything under the sun like gadgets, accessories, beauty items, clothing, kitchen tools, all that good stuff. The items in the shop are offered in the best and lowest price as possible, so you get to buy an item that's 10-70% cheaper than that of other online shops. It's like eBay but with cheaper stuff (so a bit like Wish, I guess?)

After 26 days of waiting (not that I was counting or whatever...), my package finally arrived! Here are the six items I picked from Tosave

Pretty satisfied that the products are each in a plastic bag. You never know what'll happen to the items while it's shipping (like color-transfer, for example) so it's nice they have some sort of protection.

Let's start with the 2 non-beauty items first, shall we? The first item is a red laptop bag/sleeve for a 15" laptop. I actually bought myself a brand new 14" Asus laptop for Christmas so the timing was just perfect. I badly needed a house for Fenris (yes, I actually named my laptop. Yes, I named it after Marvel villains. F off. :P) so I grabbed the opportunity and got a laptop bag. I got the 15" one because I figured that that's better than a 13" bag; I was just more secured, I guess, that Fenris would fit in this one. This laptop bag isn't a hard case type; it's more of a thin foam case. Not the most sturdy of sleeves but it's lightweight and it keeps Fenris from being dusty. Plus, since it's for a 15", it's pretty spacious so I can fit in my laptop, its charger, my earphones, and a mouse, and other non bulky items, like a couple of notebooks.

The other non-beauty item I got is a cupcake pan, or a mini one, rather. I swear I thought this was the regular sized one so imagine my surprise upon seeing a mini one (this is what happens when you don't read the product description thoroughly, haha!). No problem though, since I can still use it for mini muffins/cupcakes or for macaroons even. I'm glad this is a nonstick pan, too. Can't wait to bake using this!

Now on to the beauty items. First up is something I've been wanting to try for a long time: the silicone puff. Can you still remember when these things blew up the beauty world? So far, it still has mixed reviews so I can't wait to try it myself. Tosave offers a number of silicon puffs in their website, you just have to look what seems to be the best option. The one I got is from the brand NiceFace and it came with its own little pouch bag. Neat!

I can never resist and have enough of sponge blenders so here I am with a pack of 6 because one is never enough, am I right? I just wanted to try if these are good. The pack of six comes in two shapes: teardrop and curvy. I still don't know how they'll perform but they're the type of tough sponge I usually go for. Stay tuned!

Can't resist getting something for the nails, haha! Instead of nail polishes, I opted to try some nice lace nail stickers. Nail stickers are the easiest things to use to bling up a boring mani so of course I'd get some. This one has 24 sheets of silver lace stickers and includes a variety of designs like florals, crowns, scallops, lace, and hearts. As you can see, they come in different sizes: some are thick bands, some are thin bands, some are accents, allowing you to customize your mani to your heart's design. I'd definitely incorporate these in future NOTDs for sure.

Last but not least is the most random thing, ever. Something I though I didn't need until I actually saw it. I got a freaking powderpuff holder. Like, what!? Okay, but for real, though. I got it so that I have a stand for my wet blenders. So that they can dry vertically instead of horizontally on a towel. Also, this could function as a blender display, too, so I won't lose them or lose their shape. So see, it's not the most random thing. I'll let you know how this goes.

So those are my picks from the site. I'll definitely feature the beauty items in future posts, I just have to test them first. So far, I'm pretty pleased with everything, most specially Fenris' new home. Don't forget to check out Tosave
