A Quick Midnight Purchase: Fresh Formula Sgt At Arms Bundle PR Kit
Happy checkout to me. :)
After spending money on makeup and almond milks (yes, that happened), I told myself I wouldn't shop anymore this month. Whenever I shop, I always make sure to checkout the things I actually need and not always give in and buy the things I want. The things I want, I save for future "treat-yo-self" purchases. Right now, my main focus is to save but also treat myself once in a while.
Well today, I'll be sharing my last purchase for the month of July aka my treat to myself aka an advanced birthday gift: Fresh Formula's limited edition Sgt At Arms Bundle PR Kit. When I saw FF's Insta post that this kit will be up for sale on the midnight of July 28th, I just knew I had to get it. I mean, how could I not? This set retailed for ₱499 (excluding shipping) and it was part of Fresh Formula's birthday launch. Now I don't usually buy PR kits but upon seeing the contents of this kit, I knew it was going to be worth my money and worth getting up for at midnight! I actually thought I wouldn't be able to get my hands on this kit, considering that a lot of people were also eyeing it. But lo and behold, I was able to click checkout and my order got through! When I came back to the product page, it was already sold out, both on Shopee and Lazada. Whew!
Wanna know what's inside?
Well, let's start off with the bag itself. It's an upsized Fresh Formula transparent pouch and it's something that I can use as a makeup bag. Because it's quite tall, I can now fit in my brushes and some bottles (like my setting spray and instant brush cleaner) alongside my makeup!
The next items are from Booty Bands PH, the very same store where I bought my mini resistance bands, sliders, and resistance tubes. I don't know if you've noticed but it seems like I always get something from them every year for my birthday? This year, I got these in my kit: the Sweat Buddy and a speed rope.
Bit of a product description for the Sweat Buddy: "The Sweat Buddy is a wraparound waist belt made of double layer neoprene and secured with a velcro tab. When worn around the midsection, it helps promote blood circulation in stubborn fat areas such as the lower abs and love handles. Also helps with localized water loss in the area, which can create the appearance of more defined abs and a smaller waist." I know that the Sweat Buddy is one of Booty Bands PH best-selling item so I'm looking forward to using it during my workouts. There are 5 varieties of this product but I'm not 100% sure which one is included in the kit. It's either the original SB or the SB Pro.
The speed rope is made out of a steel cable encased in plastic. I'm so happy to have one now since I've always wanted to have an actual jump rope for my workouts. Yay!
Individually, the original Sweat Buddy costs ₱395 while the Sweat Buddy Pro costs ₱495. The speed rope costs ₱395 and I don't know if you've noticed but this kit also includes a carrying pouch that retails for ₱220. However, Booty Bands PH sells this duo (SB Pro + speed rope) for ₱895 on their Shopee account.
Next things I got: stickers! I absolutely LOVE these stickers, from the colors to the designs to the messages. My fave one is probably the one that says "Progress over perfection". Such a great mantra to live by.
Next up: Colourette's Blur Balm! I remember the time when I first saw and heard of this product- I think it was released alongside Colourette's Easy Mattes lippie line. The Blur Balm is a clear lip primer and lip moisturizer and it's best paired with a matte lippie since it'll protect the lips from drying out. Absolutely love the fruit candy smell too! This retails for ₱349.
Last but not least is the product of the hour: the Sgt. At Arms Deo Spray Plus. Originally, the spray only came in a 65ml bottle but now, it got upsized to 100ml! The Sgt. At Arms Deo spray is a product that "actively combats odor and sweat while soothing and nourishing your delicate underarm area." I've always wanted to try this and its partner, the overnight cream, but I never really got around to purchasing the duo. At least now I have one of them and I can't wait to test it out. The Deo Spray Plus retails for ₱299.
So do you know now why I just had to get this kit? I mean, talk about super sulit! The contents are worth more than what I paid for and I can actually use each product! Also, can I just say that this collab is just everything? The fact that they were able to mesh skincare, beauty, and fitness in a product launch is such a genius move- and definitely right up my alley. Fine, Fresh Formula, just take all my money! :P
