Fit tips.

Happy first Monday of April 2021, everyone! I'm back with a brand new guest post all about at home fitness. I've always been a fan of working out at home and I love just talking about it and how you don't need a gym to get your sweat on. Even before the pandemic hit, I've already been doing home workouts which help my physical and mental health on a daily basis so yes, I really advocate working out at home- hell, just working out period.

So today's guest post is all about that. Huge thanks to Ryan Stinson for reaching out and writing this awesome and really helpful article! Hope you learn a thing or two and inspire you to get moving.

Enjoy!

Working out at home can be easier than you think… Let's go back to the basics of home workouts, so you can start training today with minimal home gym equipment

We have put together many ideas for light home workouts that consists of several strength and cardio movements that can be done, making it a great workout for beginners and advanced alike.

What type of workout should I start with?

Workout challenges the entire body and includes elements of cardio, strength and core conditioning. Choose your workout based on the equipment you have and want to train with. Sworkit is built up with randomly selected exercises, which fit your training targets, so it is not necessary to adjust the dynamics of the workout.

Choose whether you want to build strength or do yoga or build up your core strength and flexibility, core fitness or core endurance, body weight or endurance. If you have kettlebells or a few dumbbells at home, you will find a first-class strength training routine.

Working out benefits you physically and mentally.

Learning fitness also gives your brain a welcome workout which in turn helps you train more of your body. Those who find the above beginner home workout too easy can switch to the more advanced bodyweight workout.

Understanding what level you are at in your fitness journey means you are guaranteed to achieve the same level of fitness as you would at the gym when it comes to training. By doing this in the comfort of your own home, it prepares you for the more challenging shoulder exercises you will be doing in a gym. You can train your shoulders as well as your legs, but with a little more intensity.

Why should you use an exercise program at home?

By using a well thought-out exercise program, basic exercise bikes or no equipment at all, you can exercise at a much higher level than when exercising at home with any gym or any equipment.

With a few quick modifications, your living room can be transformed into a home studio, and we recommend turning it into your training room for these time periods. There are many businesses which can help you build a home gym regardless of your budget. Whether that’s equipment or advice.

Training programs for at home workouts.

There are also a variety of training programs featuring a variety of home workouts, including a filter that allows you to choose a program based on whether you have access to fitness equipment or want to rely on body weight - exercises only.

While many home workouts are focused on cardio, these types of programs prove that you don't have to go to the gym's weight department to work out muscles.

What type of equipment do I need?

The perfect home gym setup means you only need the right training equipment, so let's get straight to the point. You can do a good workout without paying gym membership or personal trainer by exercising at home with free weights, weights and other home fitness equipment.

Free weights are those that don't take up a ton of space, but equipping your home gyms can be as easy as buying the perfect set of weight balls and kettlebells.

What are the benefits of exercising at home?

Aside from the obvious answers of not feeling self conscious at the gym and the convenience of kicking off your workout from your front room of course. You should also consider how to benefit from your environment to make sure you stick to your routine.

Strength training at home is much more comfortable, which means you are more likely to smash your workout. For more experienced gym visitors, exercising from home offers a better chance to do your workout efficiently. If you exercise at home, you can maximize the time allotted to the workout and focus on doing the exercises at your own pace.
