There are a wide range of Safety Gloves which are suitable for all kinds of work places, from the construction industry, the home, and general work safety. Safety Gloves are needed for most work environments, depending on the line of work you are doing., where you work and the sort of work you undertake.

Finding The Right Safety Gloves Finding and using the right sort of protective gloves is very important because if you use the incorrect gloves, you could end up doing some serious damage to yourself and/or others around you. For example, you wouldn't wear Disposable Gloves when handling glass; instead,  you would wear cut resistant gloves as they are designed to help stop the glass from cutting through to your hands.

For this reason, we have created this page to explain which protective gloves are to be used for every job. We also hope that these extra safety equipment will help keep your work environment safe.

Cotton Gloves are generally used as a glove liner or when you need to keep within hygiene rules. This type of glove is often used as a glove liner as its soft cotton will help keep you comfortable at work all day long.

Cut Resistant Gloves are generally used in a work environment where you would be using knives or other sharp objects such as glass. The cut resistant glove has been design to protect and last longer in heavy wear areas such as a reinforced thumb crotch along with fingerless Kevlar grips for added protection whilst offering an easy working touch.

Cut Resistant Reflex Gloves Cut are also generally used with sharp objects such as handling glass, knives and much more. These are a great fit due to having high wear areas reinforced and glove-less fingers to leave you free to carry out fiddly bits whilst still being highly protected.

Disposable Gloves are made from Latex and Vinyl and are generally used for quick and short term jobs to save time and money, rather than buying heavy duty gloves for a simple job. All disposable gloves come in a smooth finish with beaded cuffs and are very light, meaning that you can do any job with ease.

There are a wide range of gloves from a number of leading brand names in the PPE & Safety Equipment industry. Some of these leading manufacturers of safety gloves include such brands as Polyco, Supertouch and Uvex.

General Handling Gloves are flexible gloves designed to be used for general work use to help keep your hands safe at work. These are generally made of a lightweight seamless knitted material, which helps give a maximum dexterity for even the most tactile jobs without failing to give the highest protection possible.

General Reflex Gloves offer all the same options and protection as the general handling gloves but with an added latex coating to give more grip for superior and secure handling in the workplace with most tasks.

Ironclad Gloves are made with Ironclad as the name states. These are generally used as a general utility glove as they offer superior safety and comfort and are also light enough to be worn all day, making them the ideal glove for most work duties.

Rigger Gloves are generally used for gardening and rubbish removal due to its thickness and heavyweight material. These are normally made of a hide leather patch palm for a heavy duty and rigged palm and a cotton drill back with rubberized safety cuffs. These are the choice of many due to the fact that they can be used on almost all jobs because of their superior thickness and heavyweight materials.
